Chaco Announces First-Ever Wedding Ceremony Opportunity for Sandal-Loving Fans
If you didn’t ever think you would see a series of weddings hosted by a footwear brand, we’re here to tell you that a first-of-its-kind event is on the way, as it was officially announced today that outdoor footwear brand Chaco will host its first ever wedding in Bellvue, Colo., as part of the brand’s Chaco For Life 35th birthday celebration.
To mark the monumental anniversary (which took place in April), the company is offering a unique opportunity for 35 sandal-loving couples to get married or renew their vows on the banks of the scenic Poudre River. The Chaco Wedding will be held Sunday, June 30, from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Mishawaka in Bellvue, Colo., on the banks of the scenic Poudre River. Starting today, couples can now RSVP for an elopement or vow renewal time slot for a chance to be a part of two different elopement groups. Since spaces are limited, the company is encouraging early registration.
This announcement is a natural extension of the hundreds of wedding invites and Instagram tags of couples getting married in Chaco sandals the brand receives each year, as confirmed by Chaco Senior Brand Director Jon Golub in a statement. “We receive hundreds of wedding invites each year and are tagged in countless photos of Chaco Nation getting married in their sandals, so we are inviting everyone to come celebrate and tie the knot with us,” explains Golub, who added: “Chaco sandals are known for a lifetime of memories, so we’re giving back by helping to be the start of a lifetime of memories. You invited us, and now we’re inviting you.”
Chaco will be offering two group elopement style ceremonies at 5 and 7 p.m. respectively on June 30, as part of the “Chaco Wedding Experience,” which will also include: elopement ceremonies, vow renewals, custom wedding sandals for purchase, live music, an open-house style reception, surprise and delight moments and plenty more.
